Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 small head green cabbage chopped (3-4 cups chopped)
2 tsp chopped garlic
1 can red kidney beans (drained and rinsed)

1 tsp. red pepper flakes
2 bay leafs
4 cups beef broth (add more if chili looks dry)

Directions:
In a 12" Dutch Oven brown the ground beef and ground pork. If desired you can also add in ½ lb. of a chopped smoked sausage or kielbasa. Drain off excess fat. Add in the onions, garlic, celery and green peppers then cook for 10 minutes. Add the tomatoes, kidney beans and beef broth and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the cabbage, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper and bay leaf and mix well. Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Add extra broth if the chili looks dry.
