Peachy Praline Spice Cake

 

Here is a brand new dump cake recipe that is fresh from our test kitchen. You are going to want to try this Dutch oven dessert, there will be no left overs!

Prep time: 20 Minutes, Cook time: 50 Minutes

Ingredients:

1 box spice cake mix
Peachy Praline Spice Cake photo 1 15 ounce can diced peaches-drained
1 cup caramel sauce
1 can cola
1 cup coarsely chopped praline pecans (candied pecans)
1 cup raisins

Topping
½ cup caramel sauce
1 cup coarsely chopped praline pecans (candied pecans)

Directions:

Place the cake mix and cola into a parchment lined 10 or 12 inch Dutch oven and mix lightly until the cake mix is moistened. Do not over mix. Gently fold in diced peaches, pecans and raisins. Drizzle the top with caramel sauce then place the cover on your dutch oven. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until butter knife inserted in middle comes out dry. Do not over bake.

Let sit 10 minutes then drizzle top of cake with ½ cup caramel sauce. Sprinkle with pecans. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream or both!
This is a “dump” cake so serve with a spoon.
